1. Ensure manufacturing process compliance with legal- & safety requirements, engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications. 2. Plan and recommend the Pick and place programming & line design optimization to improve the placement yield of the line. 3. Prepare, execute and document technical readiness of programs for NPI & ECR. 4. Internal and Customer defect avoidance and reduction 6. Develop and implement productivity and process improvements (e.g. CT reduction, cost reduction etc.,). 7. 2nd level machine downtime problem solving and developing concepts for high machine uptime. Periodic / Ocassional : 1. Assure Machine capability. 2. Assure compliance in internal and external Audits. 3. Proactive identification of potential quality risks and containment/correction. 4. Knowledge transfer and Lessons Learned deployment (in and out: Training of Maintenance and Production, CN Lessons Learned, Standards implementation & Benchmarking. Qualifications 5+ (BE) year - relevant job experience in electronics and or automotive / SMT manufacturing platforms. Additional Information Technical Competencies expected 1. Basic Knowledge in SMT assembly process. 2. Problem solving methodology with deep dive root cause analysis, PDCA, FMEA etc., 3. Understanding of SMT assembly process. 4. Understanding of different component packages and their handling requirements. 5. Component library creation and maintenance. 6. Feeder setup and management. 7. Understanding of parameters and settings which would affect the cycle time, 8. Determining optimal product group for given set of products and optimal no. of machines & head configuration for those. Deliverables 1. Validation of line design and capacity thru simulations. 2. Recommend and plan to deploy the validated simulations. 3. Specify and implement cost saving measures (CT, productivity, consumables, tools etc.) 4. Problem Solving for Customer Complaint topics (0km/field failures.) 5. Continuous Improvement topics from IDC, utilization.
