As part of this group, you will be responsible for working on solutions design and architecture related to all aspects of 3G, 4G and 5G signaling. This individual will be working on all the IoT, mobile and voice solution initiatives iBasis is working on. The candidate will have the following skill set: 1. Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in EE or Computer Science with a minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in the relevant field. 2. Strong background in designing solutions with 3G, 4G, and 5G signaling including MAP, Diameter, HTTP, GTP etc. 3. Strong understanding of all SMS protocols and various VoLTE implementations. 4. Hands on working knowledge of the 5g network core signaling elements and various interfaces, Focus on the IPX models including the N32 interface. 6. Team player and be ready to be on-call. Good to have: 1. Worked in a telecom service provider, vendor or carrier. 2. Have worked closely with specification bodies including GSMA, IETF, 3gpp etc. 3. Strong documentation skills and cross functional work experience. 4. Worked on or have a good understanding of eSIM based solutions and the relevant ETSI SIM Toolkit and GSMA M2M IoT specifications. 5. Working knowledge of REST APIs. Likely to have: 1. Strong background in IP networks and good knowledge of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF etc. 2. Hands on experience with some Scripting language, preferably Python. 3.
