The candidate will undergo structured on-the-job training and gain exposure to various operations within the department. Key Responsibilities: Assist in day-to-day operations in the assigned department. Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Coordinate with the team for production, maintenance, or quality-related tasks. Participate in training programs and complete assignments/projects as given. Maintain logs, records, and documentation as required. Identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas. Role & responsibilities Product & process control to meet internal & external customer requirement qualitatively as well as quantitatively as per planning. Production as per schedule/budgeted target from Mfg. services. Daily & Weekly Review & daily monitoring of process & system parameters. Development of systems & new products Review of new WI & resources to get quality product Metal/Mfg. wastage within the budgeted target. Daily & Weekly monitoring of wastage & plugging of source of generation with weekly review. Improvement in manufacturing efficiency. Analysis of work processes and targets for improvement Motivated & Trained subordinates. Installation of training and Development schemes and objective target oriented assessments with weekly review. In-house rejections within limits to attain the budgeted Production, Metal/Mfg. wastage & warranty targets. Daily & Weekly monitoring of in-house rejections with daily & weekly review. Maintaining Inventory (Prod. related incl. WIP/FG) within the budgeted target. Daily & Weekly review for planning, producing & controlling the inventory. Maintaining Conversion Cost (accrued from production) within the budgeted target. Weekly review of the same & by increasing productivity & decreasing wastage. Customer requirement Monitoring of service requests, customer complaints on a monthly basis. On time delivery Supply chain management Mfg. Services, OEM Marketing, Quality Assurance. Hiring Trainee supervisor for Andhra (Tirupati district) Key Responsibilities Productivity Effective Workforce planning for optimum utilization of man-days Makes arrangements for personnel and equipment Provides direction of work, material, equipment, tools, and consumables to workers Ensure timely production as per the production plan Receive and stop materials and supplies received for smelting section Making report of Daily Production of the smelting section Quality Ensure correct composition in batch making (using correct percentage of charcoal, soda ash, mill scale scrap, cast iron dust and lime stone is used in charging) by weighing. Ensure that the critical operating parameters are kept under control Operational Excellence Ensure flame of burner is working properly Supervising operators/labor while tapping and ensuring correct procedure is followed Ensure ladle are empty and ready to use in time and there is no delay in collecting lead due to unavailability of ladle Health, Safety and Environment Ensure everybody is wearing PPE and following the Health and Safety rules and regulations in smelting production floor. Maintain 5 S to keep working area neat and clean and to avoid accidents.
