As an experienced PostgreSQL Core DBA, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Excellent understanding of PostgreSQL Architecture versions 10 to 15, with the ability to fix issues related to Backup and Recovery using commands. - Proficient in using migration tools to transition from Oracle to PostgreSQL setups. - Skilled in performance troubleshooting using tools like pgadmin, pgpool, repmgr, and oswatcher. - Experienced in troubleshooting Database upgrades, migrations, and replication tool configurations. - Capable of resolving issues related to Unix, storage, and network problems. - Knowledgeable about VCS Cluster and familiarity with Grafana and Kibana would be advantageous. - Provide recommendations to application and development teams for enhancing application design. - Design effective database solutions and offer architectural advice for database systems. - Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure consistent infrastructure systems. - Proficient in advanced cluster concepts and understanding Xtrabackup failure for database backup. - Act as a mentor and team builder, demonstrating reliability, hard work, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
