SME - Onboarding

Role Overview: As a software engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in building a high-quality, innovative, and robust software platform. If you have a strong background in developing scalable data platforms and enjoy hands-on platform building, we are looking for you. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate analysis, define problems, and develop solutions to determine operational feasibility - Develop documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, and clear code to demonstrate solutions - Design system specifications, standards, and programming for solution installation - Conduct systems analysis to recommend policy and procedure changes for improving operations - Obtain and license software from vendors, recommend purchases, and test products - Stay updated on development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment - Participate in educational opportunities and read professional publications - Keep information confidential to protect operations - Collect, analyze, and summarize development and service issues for providing information - Complete related results as needed to accomplish engineering and organization mission - Study information needs, confer with users, and investigate problem areas to develop software solutions Qualification Required: - Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer - Experience in designing interactive applications - Ability to develop software in Java, Ruby on Rails, C++, or other programming languages - Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate) - Experience in developing web applications using popular web frameworks (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC) - Familiarity with test-driven development - Proficiency in software engineering tools - Capability to document requirements and specifications (Note: Experience & Pedigree - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent),
