Job Summary

DATA: The Consumer Loan Processor is primarily responsible for providing support to the lending areas by reviewing the accuracy of complex consumer loans from conditional approval to closing.

Responsibilities

Verifies required loan documentation for approved loan applicationsVerifies all required support materials such as titles and floods to ensure the files ready for closingContacts customers to collect and review additional information as necessaryProvides support to customers branches and lending staff as neededMay train new branch personnelTests new systems and documentation softwareAnswers phones in queue as well as personal line to assist customersCollects and reviews all conditions placed on loan by lender and mortgage underwriterMay assist in training of Loan ProcesserMay assist Loan Processing Center Manager with special projectsProcesses all specialty products.Advises customers regarding changes in rate and term.4+ years loan documentation experienceDemonstrated knowledge of Bank loan products and policiesDemonstrated knowledge of lending softwareDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask.Ability to handle heavy workload and meet stringent deadlinesOutstanding oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all customers both internal and externalSolid knowledge and understanding of states regulationsProficient PC skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule rotation of nights or weekends

Certifications Required

Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) or equivalent certification preferred.
