This position is responsible for the design and evaluation of mechanical systems associated with coal and natural gas fired power generation facilities as well as associated support facilities. Candidate will perform work which involves both conventional engineering practices and complex situations, requiring innovation relative to work practices and procedures Multi-disciplined power generation projects require engineers to work in a diverse project team environment and exhibit the ability to develop consensus in identifying the optimum solution to complex problems. These complex assignments require the application of advanced techniques, resulting in the development of new or improved processes, equipment and/or technological methods. Candidate will be responsible for detailed design through the development of contract specifications and contract administration. Position will require extensive interface with equipment suppliers/vendors, and with project managers, other engineering disciplines, modelers, designers, and detailers locally in the Mumbai office as well as remotely in various offices in the United States.
