As a member of Pfizer's pharmaceutical manufacturing team, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our breakthroughs positively impact patients. In this role, you will manage projects, set objectives, and lead teams, utilizing people, technology, and financial resources effectively. You will drive innovation by identifying and implementing process or product improvements, while also tackling complex problems with your diverse experience. Managing the performance of direct and indirect reports, you will support team objectives and provide valuable input to senior management. Collaboration with leadership is vital in achieving objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance, adhering to SOPs, and meeting cGMP requirements. You will be responsible for developing and leading a team of process technicians, optimizing facilities and equipment, and implementing Lean Tools effectively. Supporting the development of SMART Objectives, participating in best practice sharing programs, and overseeing the performance and training of shift colleagues and contingent staff will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you must have a B.Pharmacy/M.Pharmacy degree with 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing injectables companies. Strong people management skills in a regulated manufacturing environment, along with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities, are essential. A working knowledge of Upstream/Downstream Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), as well as the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and goal-driven setting, are required. Strong decision-making capabilities are also a key requirement. Preferred qualifications include relevant pharmaceutical industry experience, proficiency with Lean Tools, strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to identify development needs and create growth opportunities for colleagues, and experience in maintaining regulatory compliance through established programs.
