The role will focus on driving business growth through central, state, and PSU accounts by promoting IT hardware, infrastructure, and enterprise solutions. The incumbent will be responsible for strategy development, relationship management, tender/EOI participation, and achieving sales & revenue targets within the government ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive sales initiatives for Government & PSU clients in the IT hardware and infrastructure space. Identify, develop, and manage business opportunities through tenders, rate contracts, empanelments, and direct engagement with government stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials, decision-makers, system integrators, and consulting bodies. Track and analyze government IT budgets, procurement policies, and upcoming projects to align with company offerings. Manage end-to-end bid process including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, proposal submissions, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to design customer-centric solutions. Ensure compliance with government norms, procurement guidelines, and commercial terms. Key Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Government procurement processes (GeM, CPPP, rate contracts, empanelments, NICSI, DGS&D, etc.). Strong network with government departments, ministries, PSUs, and defense sector (preferred). Proven track record of handling large-value IT hardware/infra projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex decision-making processes. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and manage a sales team. Business acumen, strategic thinking, and result orientation. Desired Candidate Profile: 20 + years of experience in Government/PSU Sales within IT hardware or IT infrastructure industry. Exposure to handling large government accounts and multi-crore deals.
