Job Title : Head Human Resources Department : Human Resources Location : Goregaon, Mumbai Reporting To: Managing Director Job Summary: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the HR function, developing strategic HR plans and policies, ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives, and fostering a positive and productive workplace culture. This role involves overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic HR Leadership Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business direction. Provide guidance to senior management on organizational design and change management. Foster a culture that promotes productivity, innovation, and employee engagement. 2. Talent Acquisition & Management Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes. Ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent. Develop succession planning and workforce planning strategies. 3. Performance Management Design and implement performance management systems and KPIs. Drive a performance-driven culture with regular feedback and appraisals. Address underperformance in a timely and effective manner. 4. Employee Relations & Engagement Promote a positive working environment through employee engagement initiatives. Manage grievance redressal and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and escalate as needed. 5. Compensation & Benefits Develop competitive compensation and benefits programs. Ensure payroll and benefits administration is accurate and timely. Regularly benchmark against industry standards to retain top talent. 6. Compliance & Policy Development Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures. Conduct internal audits to ensure HR practices are legally compliant. 7. Learning & Development Identify training needs and create learning programs for professional growth. Promote leadership development and build internal capability. 8. HR Operations & Technology Leverage HR technology and systems for efficient HR operations. Use HR analytics to provide insights and support decision-making. Key Requirements: Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Worked with mid-level organisations is preferable. Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational behavior. Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
