Role & responsibilities a. Proactive & strong connect with potential customers / end users / EPC contractors / Developers/ Consultants/ Influencers in Private and Government sector b. Organizing seminars / webinars to educate customers about companys products / systems / services c. Have good visibility of Market potential d. Proactive steps to generate enquiries / NIT / RFQ for companys products / systems / services. e. Study of tenders / RFQ received and initiate internal process via online / offline mode. f. Attending pre bid meetings and seek necessary approvals from customers / consultants. g. Review & optimization of Project / Equipment BOQ in consultation with Engineering teams h. Networking with factory and technology OEMs to seek competitive techno-commercial quotes i. Submission of offer, clarifications, attend meetings and sign off PO and Contract Agreements as per schedule j. Strong business knowledge of commercial, financial & legal terms applicable to business development k. Handing over of PO / Contract documents with necessary back up to Execution team and handholding till project is commissioned as per terms of agreement. l. Familiar with MS office, MS Team, SFDC, SAP & various portal systems for effective usage on daily basis. m. Project documentation. n. Participate in internal & external audit process for successful compliances. o. ISO compliance and MIS reporting. p. Time to time review for Budget v/s Actual, taking efforts for continual improvement in bottom line. q. Preparation of Annual Operating Plan and business forecasting. r. Identifying and appointing business development consultants as per defined road map & documentation s. Close coordination with internal team viz Purchase, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Design, Engineering, Factory, Execution, Costing etc to ensure successful bidding and bringing measurable results. t. Mapping of competitor moves and strategies being deployed in market and advice management for necessary steps for improvisation / business enhancement. u. Suggest technological improvement in products / systems as per current / future market trends. Having fair idea on selling products in Power project on lifecycle cost business point of view Preferred candidate profile DME/BE-Mech/BE-Elec. Prior experience working in Pump Industry Handing Power Plants and Hydel Preferred, and further handling Business for Slurry Pumps (Target FGD Plants) Full technical Understanding Pump Business and Product Marketing. Well networked with EPCs and consultants in Power Business (Thermal/Nuclear) Thermal Project Business Development from Concept stage to Order Booking stage & support till project execution handover as per company’s prevailing policies & guidelines
