Role overview A Project Director for an International Project Management company to manage a cluster of high-rise towers & be responsible for the strategic oversight and successful delivery of an entire multi-tower development project. This role goes beyond managing a single project and involves coordinating a portfolio of interconnected, complex, high-rise buildings. The director provides high-level leadership and ensures all project managers, consultants, and contractors are aligned with the project&aposs vision, budget, and schedule. Strategic leadership and project governance: Provide visionary leadership for the entire development, defining the overall project strategy, long-term goals, and milestones. Develop and implement project management best practices and governance frameworks tailored for multi-tower developments. Serve as the primary liaison with top-tier stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, and executive leadership, presenting regular, high-level project reports. Advanced project execution and oversight: Oversee a team of individual project managers, providing expert guidance on all phases of development, from design through to project handover. Ensure the implementation of advanced construction technologies (e.g., Mivan/Myone, precast, or slipform) for maximum efficiency and quality. Drive value engineering initiatives and continuously evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness and process improvements. Manage the master project schedule, ensuring synchronization and resource optimization across all towers within the cluster. Executive-level risk and financial management: Develop and manage the master budget for the entire cluster, with total accountability for all financial forecasting, reporting, and cost control. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across all projects and develop high-level mitigation strategies to prevent delays or financial exposure. Lead the negotiation of complex contracts with consultants, contractors, and major suppliers, ensuring all contractual obligations are met. Manage and provide executive oversight for all high-value claims, variations, and contractual disputes. Team leadership and talent development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, including project managers, engineers, and support staff. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across the entire project organization. Ensure all team members adhere to the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Quality and regulatory compliance: Oversee all quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring that construction meets and exceeds the company&aposs standards. Act as the final point of approval for all major project documentation and regulatory submissions, including liaison with municipal and government authorities. Ensure a smooth and comprehensive handover process for each tower, including final close-out, documentation, and defects management. Requirements to succeed Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (PMP, CCM, etc.) are highly desirable. 20+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a significant track record in managing large-scale, high-rise building projects. At least 10 years of experience specifically handling senior-level roles for multi-tower or mixed-use development projects. Proven record of successfully delivering large, complex high-rise structures (e.g., 3+ projects over 40 floors). Excellent communication skill both verbal and written. Must have PMC background.
