As a Structural Draftsman at Kaling Technocrat & Co., you will be an integral part of our structural design team, specializing in precision drafting and detailing for various types of structures. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and architects to create accurate and professional drawings for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. Your key responsibilities will include preparing detailed structural drawings such as plans, sections, elevations, and layouts for RCC, steel, and composite structures. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing viewports, model spaces, and layout sheets with precise scaling and presentation. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, encompassing 2D drafting, viewports, block creation, sheet sets, layer management, and more. A solid understanding of structural systems, elements, connection drawings, and architectural-structural coordination is essential. Moreover, familiarity with reading architectural drawings, steel fabrication, and RCC detailing principles is advantageous. In addition to technical skills, soft skills such as attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, time management, and communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
