Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and technically adept Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of sales processes, coupled with expertise in SAP, inventory management, basic Excel functions, and warehouse & logistics planning. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer requirements, ensuring seamless integration and delivery. Key Responsibilities Sales Support & Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical insights and support during the pre-sales phase, ensuring that customer requirements are accurately understood and addressed. SAP Integration: Utilize SAP modules (preferably SD, MM, and WM) to manage sales orders, track inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products. Experience in SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock to meet customer demands without overstocking. Implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and improve turnover rates. Warehouse & Logistics Planning: Coordinate with warehouse teams to plan and execute the efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping of products. Ensure alignment with sales forecasts and customer delivery schedules. Data Analysis & Reporting: Use basic Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables) to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate reports for management review. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any technical queries or concerns promptly and professionally. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements in sales processes, inventory management, and logistics operations. Preferred Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a sales engineering role, with hands-on experience in SAP, inventory management, and logistics planning. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP modules , basic Excel functions, and understanding of warehouse management systems. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Certifications: SAP certification or training in relevant modules is a plus.
