The Housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in assigned areas. Duties include cleaning rooms, common spaces, and ensuring a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for guests, residents, or employees. Key Responsibilities:Cleaning & Sanitization: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors. Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, and surfaces. Clean and disinfect bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors). Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities (for hotels/hospitals). Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly. Room/Area Maintenance: Ensure assigned areas (rooms, lobbies, corridors, offices) are tidy. Report maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken furniture) to supervisors. Arrange furniture and decor as per standards. Compliance & Safety: Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols (e.g., OSHA, COVID-19 guidelines). Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
