Job Summary: The Senior Manual Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications, platforms, and internal systems by designing and executing comprehensive manual test plans. This role involves reviewing requirements, identifying test scenarios, preparing detailed test cases, and systematically documenting results to verify that solutions meet functional and non-functional specifications. The Senior Manual Tester will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to proactively detect issues and recommend improvements. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in structured manual testing within complex business environments. Primary Responsibilities • Review business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies • Develop, document, and maintain detailed test cases, test scripts, and checklists • Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing • Identify, log, and track defects using standardized defect management tools • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and validate fixes • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects • Prepare clear and concise test documentation and status reports • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices • Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities Primary Skills • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes • Expertise in creating and executing detailed manual test cases • Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into structured test scenarios • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development environments • Strong documentation and reporting skills • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail Qualification • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline • ISTQB Foundation or equivalent software testing certification (preferred) Experience • 1–7 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably within financial or consulting domains • Demonstrated experience working on complex, multi-module applications How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to apply via LinkedIn by submitting their resume and a summary of relevant projects or testing experience that illustrates their capabilities.
