As a GSCM Engineer, you will be responsible for various aspects of demand planning, inventory management, logistics, and procurement within the Manufacturing Industry. Your role will require an excellent understanding of business dynamics and updated market knowledge across both noncommercial and commercial vehicle sectors. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining sales forecasts, planning inventory to achieve fill rate and service level goals, recognizing and responding to trends and seasonality, and scheduling materials based on make-to-order production. You will also collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule the dispatch of finished goods to customers. Proficiency in SAP is crucial for this role, as you will be expected to utilize SAP for various tasks such as Source determination, material master maintenance, MRP Run, and Material Scheduling and forecasting. You will also be managing a significant number of SKUs (1500) to plan parts for manufacturing. In addition, you will work closely with vendors to ensure inventory availability, accurate lead times, appropriate safety stock levels, optimal reorder points, and profitable minimum order quantities. You will be responsible for identifying and recommending action on slow-moving, non-working, and obsolete inventory items. Furthermore, you will be involved in preparing EXIM documents as part of your responsibilities. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are essential for success in this role.,
