Infrastructure Project Manager Location-India(Remote) Job description: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and deliver mission-critical IT infrastructure projects, including the build-out of core infrastructure components and the migration of enterprise workloads. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of owning end-to-end delivery with full budgetary and execution responsibility. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end project delivery for infrastructure initiatives, including data center builds, cloud/on-premise hybrid environments, network upgrades, and workload migrations. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets. • Manage cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, security, vendors, and business stakeholders. • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while managing risks and dependencies. • Drive planning, execution, and status reporting using project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models). • Own all phases of the project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. • Maintain governance, compliance, and quality standards throughout the project. • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and executive sponsors. • Track and report on project performance using KPIs and metrics to ensure transparency and accountability. Required Qualifications: • 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects. • Proven experience delivering large-scale infrastructure build and workload migration projects (e.g., on-prem to cloud, data center consolidation, etc.). • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments including networking, storage, servers, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and security. • Demonstrated ability to manage multimillion-dollar budgets and deliver projects on time and within financial targets. • Experience working with both internal teams and third-party vendors or systems integrators. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification. • ITIL or similar certification is a plus. • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a strong advantage. • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven infrastructure projects (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) is desirable. The role is to integrate the application with all required systems and services and provide clean and easy-to-use API for the frontend part of the system. Although the work is usually hidden from the user, the Backend Engineer bears the full responsibility for the application functionality, performance and scalability. The Backend Engineer knows how to write clean modern APIs, integrate with legacy systems and work with databases Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product Work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete APIs Decipher existing companies software systems and be able to hook in application to applicable data sources Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions Requirements You have experience as a backend engineer in common languages and frameworks, e.g., Node Js, ExpressJS, NestJS or any other JS framework You have experience in AWS You have experience in GraphQL You have deep knowledge of object-oriented programing and engineering principles such as SOLID You have significant experience writing and utilizing autonomous services-oriented restful API services and performance tuning largescale apps You have experience with database systems, with knowledge of SQL and NoSQL stores, e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Postgres You are able to write effective unit, integration, and API tests.
