The Functional Tester will be responsible for executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Bengaluru. Responsibilities Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications. Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system. Participate in test strategy and test planning sessions. Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of our software products. Prepare and present test reports summarizing testing activities and results. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies. Participate actively in all phases of the Test Lifecycle Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 1+ years of experience in functional testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle. Experience with test planning, test strategy and test reporting Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
