Key Responsibilities Provideskill-based training (tailoring, computer literacy, crafts, electrical, carpentry, etc.) adapted to the abilities of differently-abled trainees. Assess thestrengths, interests, and limitations of trainees to design individualized training plans. Modify teaching methods, tools, and materials to suitspecial needs learners (visual, hearing, intellectual, physical disabilities). Encourage the development oflife skills and soft skills (communication, teamwork, time management). Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive workshop/classroom environment. Maintain training records, progress reports, and provide regular feedback to trainees and parents/guardians. Coordinate withrehabilitation specialists, therapists, and employers for holistic development and placement support. Facilitateexposure visits, internships, and on-the-job training opportunities. Motivate trainees to build confidence and pursue independent living/employment. Requirements Patience, empathy, and adaptability. Knowledge ofdisability-specific teaching strategies . Strong technical expertise in the trade/skill being taught. Effective communication and counseling skills. Ability to inspire confidence and independence in trainees. Team collaboration with therapists, educators, and social workers.
