JD: Service Engineer (Manager) / Technician - After Sales & Service Industry: Material Handling / Hydraulics / Engineering Company Location: Surat Experience: 1 to 10 years (role-wise) Key Responsibilities: Installation, commissioning, and servicing of material handling equipment, hydraulic systems , and related engineering machinery. Provide on-site and remote technical support to industrial clients. Technically sound to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues efficiently. Ready to travel frequently with or without Service Engineer (Service Technicians). Attend service calls as per TAT Turnaround Time (For Technicians). Maintain clear and timely communication with the Service Engineer (Manager) and Customer (For Technicians). Conduct preventive maintenance and handle urgent breakdown service calls. Support sales team with product demos, technical presentations, and customer visits. Ensure smooth and transparent communication between Management, Customers, and Technicians for efficient service operations (For Service Manager and Service Engineer). Maintain the Service Report MIS / Tracker and ensure timely data updates (For Service Manager and Service Engineer). Effectively manage the service team, ensure tasks are completed within the defined TAT, and coordinate smoothly with other internal departments (For Service Engineer / Service Manager). Maintain service documentation, logs, and customer feedback records. Manage spare parts, service schedules, and team coordination (For Service Manager and Service Engineer). Required Qualifications: BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering OR Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (ITI preferred but optional) Knowledge of material handling equipment, hydraulic systems, and industrial machinery. Strong troubleshooting ability and customer-handling skills. Basic computer proficiency (Email, MS Office, Reporting). Skills & Additional Requirements: Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively. Good interpersonal skills and professional behaviour. Strong communication skills (verbal & written). Valid driving license is mandatory. Field sales experience (preferred). Lead generation skills through industrial visits, networking, and follow-ups. Ability to close sales with strong negotiation and communication skills. Willingness to travel frequently for service and customer visits. Ability to work independently and within a team.
