Scrub in and assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures. Maintain strict sterile technique throughout procedures. Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures. Anticipate the needs of the physician during procedures and pass instruments appropriately. Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring before, during, and after procedures. Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care. Participate in emergency procedures (e.g., STEMI response, code blue) and be familiar with crash cart use and ACLS protocols. Ensure proper documentation of procedures, medications, and supplies used. Assist with inventory management and sterilization processes.
