Your responsibilities will include: - Immediately reporting any EHS incidents and near misses to supervision, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety. - Attending all required safety training and medical surveillance programs to uphold safety standards. - Ensuring that you and your team members wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for a safe working environment. - Taking a leadership role in identifying team members who may not be following procedures correctly. - Completing required STOP observations to address any potential safety hazards promptly. - Achieving zero injuries for yourself and your team members by adhering to established procedures and guidelines. - Identifying and reporting opportunities to reduce energy and water use, as well as waste generation within your work area. Qualifications required for this position include: - A Bachelor of Science Degree in Dairy Technology, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or a relevant field; or a Diploma with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience. - 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Dairy, Process Engineering, Packaging, Food, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. - Strong people management skills and the ability to lead a team effectively. - Good understanding of production and/or material operations, including knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing or six-sigma methodologies would be advantageous. - Proficiency in Gujarati is a plus.
