Job description Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing all piping activities within the India office. Leads the local engineering team, ensuring projects meet international standards, local regulations, deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety requirements. Education And Experience: BE/B.Tech degree- Mechanical/Chemical Engineer. Overall 20+ years of experience in the EPC and Detail Design Companies Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical/ Refinery/Power/Hydrogen Projects. Minimum experience 10 years as HOD or Lead Piping engineer with Leading and reputed Engineering EPC and Detail Design companies. Experience on Proposals, FEED, Detail Engineering, Site Support Construction & As- Built Phases of Project. Brownfield & Greenfield Project Execution Experience You have good past experience in working on SP3D, E3D/PDMS, Plant 3D softwares and Auto CAD. You are fluent in English. Problem-solving attitude; results-oriented Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop the local piping engineering and technical team. Project Supervision : Oversee piping design, engineering, procurement, ensuring compliance with standards (e.g., ASME, IS codes). Standards & Regulations: Ensure adherence to local and international codes; keep team updated on regulatory changes. International Collaboration: Coordinate with global teams and clients, facilitating effective communication. Quality & Safety Control: Implement and monitor Company quality and safety procedures; Cost & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets and timelines; address deviations promptly. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Promote new technologies and methodologies to optimize piping activities Skills & Competencies: Specify piping materials and components based on project requirements and industry standards. Manage day to day operations, short- and long-term objectives of IIEPL Piping department. Overall Responsibility for IIEPL Piping cost, schedule & budget control . Further develop and strengthen Piping department to meet IIEPL business objectives. Ensure workload planning & resource allocation to Incico jobs (Italy, Middle East & Local Indian jobs). Proactive attitude having knowledge of international codes & Standards . Extensive knowledge & application of ASME B31.1/ B31.3 and EN Codes . Manage Piping engineering works subcontracted to third party engineering agencies as and when required. Integrate Incico Work processes & department procedures in IIEPL Piping successfully. Review & approve key piping deliverables: - equipment layout, piping layout, GAD’s, Isometrics, stress reports, support drawings, MTO/BOM, etc. Through knowledge of 3D modelling processes, tools, and procedures. Should be able to guide the modelers for preparation of 3D models of Incico jobs. Responsible for quality control and technical accuracy of all deliverables from the IIEPL Piping team. Follow-up and verification of engineering, documentation and/or drawings. Study & analysis of client plot plan, design basis, SOW, Piping classes, wall thickness Calculations & technical specifications. Overview & response to Client/Vendor Technical Queries/Site Requests etc. Review of client stress and support design basis, 3D- design basis etc. High degree of familiarity with Navisworks for review of 3d models. Review of 3D model to ensure compliance of Clients / Project specifications, Maintenance and accessibility, constructability, critical piping flexibility , etc. Piping Manhour Estimation experience for Offers & Proposals & also on the Project. Experienced in preparing Piping Deliverable List & Schedule for the Project. Participate in client, Engineering sub-contractor, vendors, and other internal and external stake holders meeting. Participate in Incico internal project review status meetings & responsible for correct reporting of progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out. Conduct performance reviews and support staff development and training needs . Required to run a Skill Development Program in the IIEPL Piping Discipline: - To develop junior piping engineers/designers by providing them proper trainings. The trainings are to be aimed at developing Strong Fundamental Piping Layout Concepts. Shall share Lessons learned & Best practices from current & past projects so that the whole team learns from past mistakes and does not repeat them. Identify, develop & manage a team of Inhouse engineers comprising of Materials, Layout & Stress ( subject matter experts ).

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination Assist in developing and updating schedules, budgets, and resource plan. Vendor & Procurement Support Work with procurement teams to obtain quotes, evaluate vendors, and track equipment/material delivery. Quality, Safety & Compliance Assist in implementing safety audits, quality control checks, and compliance with codes and company Policies. Budget & Cost Control Assistance Track electrical portion of project budgets, assist with cost forecasting and monitoring to maintain margins. Risk Identification Highlight scheduling, quality, or supply risks early and assist in developing mitigation plans. Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; diploma with strong experience may suice. Experience: 24 years in electrical project coordination, site support, or engineering roles (substations, solar, commercial, or industrial environments).
