Job Description

A Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while adhering to safety regulations and building codes . They manage and coordinate workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to meet project goals and timelines. Safety Management: Ensuring all workers and the general public are safe on site by implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, and addressing potential hazards. Team Leadership: Supervising and motivating construction workers and subcontractors, providing guidance, and addressing any issues that arise. Quality Control: Inspecting work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project progress, safety incidents, and other relevant information. Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. Compliance: Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards. Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Thorough understanding of construction techniques, building codes, and safety regulations. Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in construction.
