You will be working as a Site Supervisor - Electrical Engineer at CoreData Networks, a deep-tech IoT company focusing on developing advanced electronic systems and intelligent monitoring devices for energy, water, and infrastructure sectors. Your role will involve leading the execution and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems and smart monitoring devices at Indian Railway project sites, combining traditional electrical supervision with next-generation IoT integration. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage electrical equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and control panels. - Coordinate the installation of IoT-enabled monitoring units, sensors, and gateways for real-time data collection and equipment health monitoring. - Ensure compliance with Indian Railways electrical and safety standards, IS/IEC codes, and project-specific specifications. - Lead site teams and subcontractors for activities such as cable laying, earthing, termination, and system integration. - Conduct pre-commissioning checks, continuity tests, insulation tests, and verification of SCADA/IoT connections. - Maintain daily progress reports, site documentation, and update project dashboards. - Implement safety procedures rigorously and organize regular safety toolbox talks. - Liaise with project engineers, design teams, and client representatives to ensure on-time, quality delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. - 2-6 years of experience in railway electrification / high-voltage / substation / traction system projects. - Hands-on knowledge of 25kV traction systems, transformers, protection systems, and SCADA/IoT interfaces. - Understanding of communication protocols (Modbus, DLMS, MQTT) will be an advantage. - Proven ability to manage site teams and enforce electrical safety discipline. - Strong documentation and technical reporting skills. - Willingness to travel extensively and stay at project locations across India. Safety & Quality Focus: - Uphold zero-incident execution standards. - Enforce the use of certified PPE and adherence to all electrical isolation and tagging procedures. - Conduct regular site-level risk assessments and safety audits.
