Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction or maintenance site. Ensure that all work is performed according to project specifications, plans, and industry standards. Manage site logistics, including scheduling and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or safety concerns. Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Team Supervision: Supervise and manage site personnel, including workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople. Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and resolving conflicts. Monitor and evaluate worker performance and productivity. Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets the required quality standards and specifications. Address and rectify any issues or defects in workmanship. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Communication and Coordination: Act as the main point of contact between the project manager, clients, and other stakeholders. Communicate project updates, progress, and any issues that arise. Coordinate with other departments or teams as needed to ensure smooth project execution. Administrative Duties: Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and progress reports. Manage inventory and order materials as needed. Prepare and submit reports on project status, including any delays or issues encountered. Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certifications are preferred. Proven experience in a supervisory role within construction or a related field. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
