Site Supervisor (Civil)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor who has hands-on experience in both building projects and road construction works. The candidate should be capable of supervising site activities, managing labour, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring timely completion of work as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at both building and road construction sites.
• Ensure work execution as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Maintain proper coordination with project engineers, contractors, and labour teams.

Building Construction Responsibilities

• Monitor RCC, brickwork, plastering, flooring, plumbing, and finishing works.
• Ensure correct measurements, levels, and alignment at every stage of construction.
• Verify material usage on-site and prevent wastage.

Road Construction Responsibilities

• Supervise roadworks such as excavation, subgrade preparation, WBM/WMM, and compaction,
• Ensure proper levels, gradients, camber, and quality checks during road execution.
• Coordinate with machinery operators and ensure smooth execution of road layers.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all works comply with safety standards and site protocols.
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain construction standards.
• Report discrepancies immediately and suggest corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, labour reports, and material consumption logs.
• Assist in preparing progress reports for management and engineers.
• Support in measurement sheets, bill checking, and quantity verification.

Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
• Ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Handle site issues proactively and ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Experience in building construction and road construction (mandatory).
• Ability to read and understand AUTOCAD drawings and measurements.
• Strong supervision skills and labour management capability.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering / ITI Civil / 12th pass with relevant experience

Experience:

• Minimum 5–7 years of site supervision experience in both building and road construction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
