As a Compressor Regional Project Development Manager (RPDM) for Centrifugal Compressors in the Asia Pacific region, your role is crucial in supporting customers from the Oil & Gas, chemical, and industrial sectors. You will collaborate closely with the regional Client Manager, mechanical & controls RPDM, and various teams within the organization to develop and propose technical solutions for compressor upgrade projects. - Collaborate with Controls Project Development Managers, CM, and Service Centers to create value propositions and navigate complex environments. - Lead technical presentations on rotating machinery M&U solutions and Siemens Energy's value propositions to clients. - Conduct technical product training for regional teams, representatives, agents, and clients as needed. - Meet M&U targets and earning objectives, ensuring a smooth handover to the execution team. - Prepare and issue Request for Quotations to major sub-suppliers for bundled extended scope solutions. - Work with different departments to gather necessary information for preparing quotations for extended scope projects. Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering with expertise in rotating machinery, specifically compressors. - Minimum 6 years of experience as a compressor field service/commissioning Engineer or related field. - Understanding of customer-focused equipment and control upgrade needs, ability to explain technical solutions to clients. - Strong collaboration skills across teams and boundaries, with a confident presence in front of Siemens Energy and clients. - Self-motivated with a good understanding of rotating equipment design and thermodynamic principles. - Experience with Siemens Energy's rotating machinery products preferred.
