As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will solve interesting technical challenges by defining, designing, deploying, and troubleshooting key Oracle Cloud services, platforms, and infrastructure, always thinking about reliability, scalability, resilience, security, and performance.The ideal candidate for this engaging and visible technical leadership role would have the experience of a developer, the wits of a systems and infrastructure whiz, and the courage of a spirited "closer". All these qualities bundled up in an affable communicator in order to make our Oracle Cloud customers successful.

Responsibilities

: Our team works within the Oracle Health Data, Analytics Platform with a core focus on cloud operations. We are responsible for building and maintaining the cloud computing services and solutions that help us operate with greater efficiency, security, and attention to detail. As a member of the team, you will be surrounded by bright and innovative minds thriving in a collaborative environment supporting infrastructure and applications. We operate the BigData infrastructure portion of one of our core products, HealtheIntent. We empower our team to make advancements to be more efficient and productive in their day-to-day operations leading to the delivery of superior external customer product availability and support experience. Knowledge, Understanding and/or Experience: Cloud Architecture/ Cloud computing patterns Server hardware configuration/ Linux internals Scripting languages, such as Python, Ruby, Bash, etc. Monitoring and Instrumentation DevOps toolchain IT Security and compliance 2+ year experience of running large scale customer facing web services REST APIs Load balancing technologies, including L7 routing, DNS, and CDN Knowledge of languages, such as Ruby, C++, Java, JavaScript Databases and big data stores (Hbase/Kafka/Storm) Defining and documenting technical architecture of complex and highly scalable products Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant work experience. 2+ year s experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or System Engineering. Must have public cloud operations experience. Knowledge in infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform
