Site Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

The Buyer will be accountable for the purchasing of goods and services in support of Plant operations for India and sourcing materials in India to support other locations throughout the world. This position will report functionally to Procurement head in Asia and administratively to the India Plant Manager.Purchasing Responsibility:Drive year-over-year improvement in direct and indirect material spend through listed cost saving projects.Lead the development of new suppliers, and better-quality raw materials through collaborative supplier management and leadership of internal stakeholders.Help to shape and follow the global procurement strategies, negotiate best term with suppliers, implement outline agreement and contract, manage supplier relationship and get best cost management from categories.Proactive management of Working Capital TWC through reduced inventory strategy and optimized Payment Terms.Achieve a best-in-class purchasing VCP saving through technical cooperation and identify any cost saving project year by yearUsing PINPOOL to have bidding process in the RFQ stage, which also working with cross functional team to have best cost.Involve all collaboration with local team and together building a strong local team through concise objective-setting and performance appraisals, effective development plans, coaching, communicating and one-direction from top down.Work cooperated with sales, marketing, R&D and operations towards achieving cost saving and supply chain transformation goals.Strong business behavior to negotiate prices and terms with vendors, set up meetings, organize site audits, legal compliances and quality requirement.Attending the global meeting, following action plan and project progress, and regular reporting to region procurement team.Supporting all other sites of sourcing, searching, regulation and all related information required by functions and teams.Proactively take daily working as below activities:You
