A day in the life The EHS Manager is responsible for site execution of all applicable safety standards including those set through company policy, local and regional regulations, and Amazon best practices. He/She shall allocate resources, guide and influence leadership, and escalate according to risk. This document lays out these expectations for deliverables by the He/She and their team, where applicable, to ensure alignment between operations and safety. The He/She shall be knowledgeable of operations and shall be authorized and responsible to halt operations if a recognized risk poses an imminent threat to life, safety, or health. The He/She develops and executes strategies for the site that ensures a work environment free from hazards and compliant with applicable rules and regulations, motivates Associates to choose safe behaviors, and fosters active engagement and dialogue between leaders and Associates. Responsible for project management and monitoring of site construction activities as per project execution plan. Verify and certify running bills raised by IC /Execution Agencies as per actual site work progress. Implementation of the industrial standards, quality, Health Safety Norms (HSE Guidelines). Co Ordinating with HSE Executive Review of project planning, scheduling and monthly progress reports. Conduct daily/weekly/monthly meetings at site with IC /Execution Agencies to monitor site execution work, progress submission of site progress report to HO, i.e. overall site work monitoring. Send change to design team on daily basis for their as build FCD. Coordinate/liaison with Government/local authorities as per requirement. Responsible for execution of work as per Quality Control plan and Safety Plan. To monitor everyday site execution work, progress submission of site progress report to HO, i.e. overall site work monitoring. Coordinate with civil engineers, mechanical/ Electrical engineers of Contractors to ensure the project is delivered as per technical specification and compliance. Making sure all electrical, Mechanical civil works are as per drawings schedule. Responsible for verifying the quality of all civil work as per standards, specifications, drawings, and owners instructions. Inspection and Certification of Method for testing (on-site lab, independent, contractor) construction materials for compliance with applicable codes and specifications, especially for soil compaction, concrete, rebar etc. Post Construction: Need to give Handover to OM team Provide solar training to client Electrical Department Share changes to design team for as build FCD .
