PM to ensure that the site is updated daily or weekly basis as appropriate, about the status of contractor deployment & material shipment status, for them to align work activities. PM shall monitor Allocation of tasks as per execution plan to Site Team. Communication with site on daily basis accessing the progress of the work & input directions in case of deviations from plan, non-compliance, contingencies, hurdles etc. for immediate resolution. Facilitate to site requisite support from the Procurement, Engineering & Accounts department in view of smooth work conduction at site. PM in loop with the SM shall decide upon the matters such as Man power & Equipment deployment in case of insufficient allocation of the same by the contractor, Material purchase locally in case of delay if supply by the contractor etc. All such decision in good interest of the project shall be taken jointly by PM & SM with compliance of the management. PM to ensure daily meeting & weekly reviews of site people with the contractors. PM shall monitor the results of such meeting to ensure work progress at site. Liasoning with Government authorities in the project shall be the sole responsibility of the PM only. Commercial : PM to ensure proper submission of Contractors bills along with the WCC & WAC from site. PM to record data from site for work completion delays, poor work execution, incomplete work from contractors, in view of deriving recovery cost from them. Records of damages due to theft, accidents, natural calamities etc. shall be processed effectively to cover it under insurance claim. All contractor bills with WCC or WAC shall be certified by the PM himself after Ok remarks from the site. Processing the payments of the Contractors as per the contract shall be in the purview of the PM. All decisions related to Deductions like LD, Rejections, poor performance etc. shall be taken by the PM. Documentation & Reporting : PM to ensure that all the data, design, drawings & documents including test reports, laboratory reports, MOMs at site as well as at HO, Customer correspondences, Event calendars, Site construction photos, DPR copies, Report submissions to customer, Applications for approvals, permissions, grants, registrations etc. are maintained at a safe & easily accessible place within custody of the PM. All site records maintained by the SM shall also be in custody of the PM as a duplicate copy for records. All original & important documents like legal deeds, agreements, land sale/purchase documents, mutation documents, legal papers etc. shall be stored & maintained in lock & key & the responsibility of their safe maintenance lies with the Project Manager. All original Test & Warranty reports, External Lab reports, other reports related to the project in originals shall be in the custody of the PM. PM shall be responsible for its maintenance. All original design & drawings & data documents shall be in the custody of the PM. Compliances : PM to ensure that all requisite compliances, licenses, and permissions at site level shall be managed & taken by the Site Manager well in time. PM to facilitate all help related to finance, documents & man power from HO to site in this task.
