As a Site Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, amending, and optimizing customer project telecom implementation site solutions and their associated workflows. This role serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on MN, CNS, and OEM products across both Pre-Sales and Delivery Phases. The Specialist is accountable for remote/onsite technical delivery of project scope, ensuring solutions align with current needs and future technology synergies.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Capability to provide technical support and address queries related to BTS Engineering, Power, installation, interconnect, and antenna systems.
- Strong knowledge of Nokia RAN equipment, including installation, commissioning, and understanding of LTE/5G-NR network architectures.
- Expertise in AC/DC power plant engineering, including UPS, inverters, SMPS, batteries, and system design/optimization.
- Proven ability to install and commission Nokia/Ericsson RAN products and various power equipment.
- Proficiency in system-level troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis (RCA) for critical power systems (e.g., UPS, transformers, batteries).
- Experience in developing solution proposals, deployment strategies, and preparing technical documentation (e.g., TSSR, CAD review).
- Ability to inspect pre-dispatched power equipment and validate internal test reports.
- Adherence to engineering processes, SLA management, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Key Skills And Experience
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Possess specialized or broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline relevant to the role.
- Hold a graduate equivalent degree with typically 3-4 years of directly related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders, including Technical Project Managers, Technical Managers, Project Managers, GSDM, GDM, xBG Engineers, Market Governance lead, and Line Manager.
- Good communication and engagement skills are required for effective interaction with external stakeholders, particularly Customer Teams.
You-Must-Have:
- Knowledge in installation, commissioning, design, and optimization of Nokia/Ericsson RAN equipment.
- Knowledge in complex AC/DC power systems, including UPS, inverters, SMPS, and battery technologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in system-level troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
