Petron – Dahej (Civil background preferred)

managing and executing quality assurance and inspection activities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of
pressure parts, structures, piping, rotary equipment, and bought-out items
.
Supervise
welding, fit-up, alignment, NDT, hydro and leak testing
.
Ensure compliance with
ASME, IBR, AWS, ISO, and project-specific standards
.
Maintain
QA/QC documentation
, test reports, and inspection records.
Coordinate with
clients, third-party inspectors (TPI), erection teams
, and statutory authorities.
Follow
site safety, quality, and environmental (HSE)
guidelines.
Report to HO on quality KPIs like
RFT, MIS, NCR, SAR
, etc.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of
codes & standards (IBR, ASME, AWS)
.
NDT Level II (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) – mandatory.
Experience with
boiler erection, static & rotary equipment, piping, refractory
.
Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Willingness to work at site, including
remote locations
,
12-hour shifts
, and
long durations
.
