Site Engineer (Mechanical)

As the Execution & Supervision role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations at the construction site to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the drawings, specifications, and quality standards. You will be required to monitor the workforces of contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain efficiency and quality in the project execution. Your role will involve technical oversight, including interpreting technical drawings, designs, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs). You will conduct site measurements, layout planning, and structural checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with the project requirements. In terms of compliance and safety, you will need to ensure adherence to relevant standards such as IBR, IS codes, and local regulatory norms. It will be essential to enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and ensure the proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the site. Reporting and documentation will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. You will be required to maintain daily progress reports, material usage logs, and site diaries. Prompt reporting of any deviations, delays, or risk factors to the higher management will be necessary to ensure effective decision-making.
