Job Description Terracle Private Ltd has an immediate opening for a Graduate Engineer with strong technical abilities and able to work with a team of engineers on small- and large-scale projects in USA. Assist in the site development design work such as grading and drainage design under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers. Must have a Masters degree in civil engineering. Assist in identifying and develop concept in Land development design, identifying locations of high point, low point and retaining wall, suitable for progression to detailed design. Prepare reports and master planning studies to include specifications and cost estimates. Provide input to Project Managers in preparing current project status reports to keep clients informed. Preferred candidate profile Ideal individual would have at least 0 to 5 years of progressive career experience in land development or transportation work with an emphasis on infrastructure projects. Basic Knowledge in Civil 3D software. Should be able to develop plans and profiles, cross-sectional plans of site development and street improvement plans. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and staff leadership skills are needed. Familiar with Land Development design and grading standards, ADA compliance. Experience with USA or UK projects. Familiar with drainage standards pertinent to storm drain and detention ponds design. Relocation assistance will be provided.

Roles & Responsibilities 1. Site Survey & Planning Conduct topographical surveys and soil testing for geotechnical analysis. Evaluate site feasibility based on terrain, access, drainage, and local regulations. Prepare the site layout plan including location of fuel tanks, canopy, driveways, retail shop, toilets, boundary wall, etc. Ensure compliance with fire safety distances , statutory norms , and OISD standards (Oil Industry Safety Directorate - India). 2. Design & Estimation Prepare or review architectural and structural drawings . Design civil structures: underground tanks , retaining walls , canopy foundations , office buildings , toilet blocks , and stormwater drains . Estimate quantities and cost of civil works (BOQ Bill of Quantities). Coordinate with architects , consultants , and regulatory authorities . 3. Construction Supervision Supervise excavation, shuttering, reinforcement, concrete works , and masonry . Ensure proper installation of underground fuel storage tanks and fuel pipelines with backfilling and compaction. Monitor construction of driveways , concrete paver blocks , canopy structure , and drainage system . Ensure safe installation of dispensing units , electrical ducts , and lighting poles . 4. Quality Control Conduct material testing (soil, concrete, steel, etc.). Ensure quality of concrete, finishing, alignment, and leveling. Maintain site records such as daily progress reports , material consumption , and inspection logs . 5. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Enforce site safety protocols , use of PPEs, and fire prevention measures. Ensure adherence to OISD standards , local municipal laws , and environmental clearance norms . Monitor safe practices near volatile fuel-handling zones. 6. Coordination & Liaison Coordinate with: Mechanical and electrical engineers (for fuel systems, generators, lighting) Vendors and contractors (civil, electrical, signage, etc.) Oil companies (e.g., IOCL, BPCL, HPCL) and their consultants Liaise with local authorities for NOCs, drainage connection, and completion certificates. 7. Project Handover Conduct final inspections with the client and oil company representatives. Submit as-built drawings , material test reports, and quality certificates. Ensure site cleanliness and readiness for commissioning.
