Optimize content, meta tags (titles, descriptions), headers, images, and internal linking to improve organic ranking. Link Building Strategy: Develop and execute a white-hat link-building strategy to increase the domain authority of the website, ensuring that we earn high-quality backlinks from reputable sources. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to ensure that all content is optimized for SEO. Create SEO-friendly content calendars, develop content briefs, and ensure that SEO goals align with broader content marketing initiatives. Technical SEO: Conduct regular technical audits, including site speed, mobile optimization, structured data, crawl errors, and indexation issues. Work with developers to fix technical SEO issues affecting rankings. SEO Analytics & Reporting: Analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush. Provide regular reports on traffic, rankings, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Adjust strategies based on performance. Algorithm Updates & Trends: Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO industry trends. Adapt strategies to ensure compliance with evolving SEO practices and guidelines. Local & International SEO: Optimize our website for location-based and international search engines (especially for the US market) to ensure that the portal is easily discoverable by job seekers across various locations and demographics. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Work closely with the conversion optimization team to test and improve landing pages and calls-to-action (CTAs) to increase job application submissions and employer registrations. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor junior team members and work closely with other marketing teams (social media, email marketing) to implement cohesive marketing strategies. SEO Trends & Innovation: Drive experimentation and innovation by exploring new tools, strategies, and emerging trends in the SEO industry. Requirements: Experience: 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic and improving search engine rankings, preferably in the job portal or recruitment industry. SEO Expertise: Strong understanding of SEO best practices for on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and content strategy.
