In this role you will be responsible for end to end process of Land Acquisition (private, government, agricultural, etc.) for large industrial & townships expansion. Key Responsibilities - Identifying large blocks of lands and complete the acquisition process along with all legal and revenue related formalities. Reviewing and analyze agreements and sale deeds (for the lands to be purchased). Initiating the discussions with the respective Government offices for buying/ exchange lands Convincing farmers/intermediaries/ land owners to part with their lands for outright /joint venture purposes. Maintaining cordial relations with land owner, government officials, external consultants Liaison with external agencies like architects, law firms, IPCs and other local brokers Liaise with revenue officials for survey of lands, registration and other revenue records related to land Coordinate with law firms for title search, documentation, registration formalities and co-ordination with revenue and other government and municipal offices for necessary approval • Work with the internal investment team to close the deal Associate best suited for this role - Strong interest and experience in land aggregation Ability to work with government agencies, collaborate internally. Strong sense of ethics and desire to work in a values-driven environment Self-motivated with an ownership mindset, can-do spirit and readiness to go the extra mile Strong conceptual and problem solving skills with ability to make sound decisions Good communication and clarity of thought Experience with reputed developers or funds will be an added advantage 10+ years of experience
