Java Backend Engineer: Location: Hi Tech City, Hyderabad [Hybrid] Employment Type: Contract to Hire [FTE after 9 months based on performance] Experience Level: 4 to 15 Yrs About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, with hands-on expertise in microservices architecture, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that are efficient, secure, and reliable. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment. Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of services. Implement and monitor cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP. Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions. Required Skills and Experience: 4+ years of professional experience as a Java Backend Developer. Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring Boot . Solid experience with Microservices Architecture . Proficiency with REST APIs , JSON, and related web technologies. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes . Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
