Job Description Housekeeping Supervisor Position: Housekeeping Supervisor (Male/Female) Department: Housekeeping Reporting To: Housekeeping Executive Job Purpose: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of all designated areas (rooms, public areas, washrooms, corridors, offices, etc.). The role involves maintaining quality standards, training staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Supervision & Operations Supervise housekeeping staff in day-to-day cleaning and maintenance activities. Assign tasks, schedule shifts, and monitor performance of housekeeping associates. Inspect rooms, washrooms, and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and order. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment. Staff Management & Training Provide orientation, training, and guidance to housekeeping staff. Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Motivate and lead the team to achieve departmental goals.
