As a Hardware Design Engineer at Netweb Technologies, you will play a crucial role in project deliverables by creating detailed design specifications, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, comprehending design requirements, formulating system/subsystem designs, and actively engaging in design reviews. You will focus on designing schematics for digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics circuits that align with the project's requirements. Additionally, you will interact with PCB layout teams to finalize component placement considering Mechanical and Signal Integrity/Power Integrity (SI/PI) constraints. Your role will also involve participating in the component selection process and coordinating with vendors to procure components that meet the specified design criteria. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in the hardware development life cycle, from design conception to board bring-up and testing. A strong understanding of Mixed signal design, High-Speed board design, and Power Design fundamentals is essential. Previous experience working with various embedded microprocessors such as Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel, and AMD is advantageous. Proficiency in designing interfaces using Bus communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and RS232 is required. You should also have experience with High-Speed I/Os like PCIe, Memory (DDRx, LPDDRx), MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY, USB3.0/USB4.0, and Ethernet interfaces. Expertise in EDA tools, particularly Cadence PCB tools, is necessary, along with experience in simulation tools like PSPICE/LTSPICE. Hands-on lab experience using Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMM), spectrum analyzers, and Debugger tools is preferred. A fundamental knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity is essential, and familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools like Hyperlynx, Sigrity, Ansys, and ADS is an additional advantage. A good understanding of EMI/EMC standards for industrial and Class A products is beneficial. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics to qualify for this role.
