🚀 Hiring: Lead Software Engineer / Architect – UAV Systems 📍 Location: Delhi 💼 Industry: Robotics / Aerospace / Embedded Systems 🧠 Experience: 7+ years (2+ years in leadership/architect role) 🎓 Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in CS, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Robotics, or Aerospace We are looking for a Lead Software Architect to drive the development of advanced UAV systems, including Ground Control Stations (GCS), autonomy modules, and embedded control frameworks. 🔍 Key Responsibilities: Lead development of Ground Control Station (GCS) software and intuitive UI dashboards using PyQt, Qt, or web-based frameworks Architect and manage offboard control systems using MAVROS / PX4 / ArduPilot APIs Integrate flight controllers, onboard computing, and multi-sensor payloads using real-time protocols (MAVLink, CAN, UART, DDS) Ensure compliance with software standards: ISO 26262, ISO 12207, DO-178C, MISRA, CI/CD Maintain and develop ROS/ROS2-based middleware for UAV autonomy: localization, perception, planning, and control Lead code reviews, documentation, version control (Git), and ensure traceability across development lifecycle Collaborate with embedded, hardware, and systems teams for full-stack integration Supervise team members, assign tasks, and monitor progress toward milestones Conduct bench testing, simulation validation, and on-field UAV trials ✅ Required Skills: Strong command of C++ and Python for embedded systems and autonomy algorithms Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, SLAM frameworks (ORB-SLAM2, Cartographer), and sensor fusion Hands-on with simulation platforms: Gazebo, AirSim, Webots, RViz Deep knowledge of ROS/ROS2, real-time networking, and multi-sensor synchronization Exposure to software quality frameworks and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jira) 🌟 Desirable: Participation in competitions like AUVSI SUAS, IMAV, Robocon, e-Yantra Contributions to open-source UAV/SLAM projects Experience with multi-UAV coordination, swarming, or distributed aerial systems Familiarity with AI-based perception (OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, ONNX) If you're passionate about building cutting-edge UAV systems and leading high-impact projects, we’d love to connect!
