The Bioinformatics Scientist position requires a candidate with expertise in single-cell transcriptomics and multi-omics analysis to develop AI-driven solutions using Elucidatas platform. As a Bioinformatics Scientist, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of biology and computational methods to analyze omics data, extract valuable insights, and assist clients in solving complex biological challenges. This role is suitable for individuals who excel at the convergence of biology, data science, and client engagement, possessing strong communication abilities and a dedication to advancing life science research through data. Your primary responsibilities will include interpreting biological problem statements and multi-omics data to create compelling scientific presentations and scalable solutions. You will be expected to analyze various biological data types (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics) using advanced statistical techniques, with a specific emphasis on single-cell transcriptomics. Additionally, you will play a key role in innovating and enhancing tools, pipelines, and algorithms for multi-omics data analysis and visualization. Collaborating with a diverse team of ML specialists, data scientists, and bioinformatics engineers, you will translate customer needs into innovative solutions while working closely with technical owners and solution managers to drive account growth and maintain customer relationships. The ideal candidate should hold a PhD or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, or a related technical field, with proven experience in processing and analyzing multi-omics data, particularly single-cell transcriptomics data. Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R is essential, along with practical experience in applying computational algorithms and statistical methods to large and varied data sets. A successful track record of collaboration and individual work, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, are also crucial for this role. Desirable qualifications for this position include familiarity with cloud technologies and scalable computing platforms, as well as experience in AI/ML applications for biomedical data analysis and prior involvement in customer collaboration and project delivery.,
