Role & responsibilities Installation: Assemble and install plumbing systems, including pipes, tubes, valves, fittings, and fixtures like toilets, showers, and water heaters. Maintenance & Repair: Perform regular maintenance on plumbing systems, inspect for issues, and repair leaks, cracked pipes, and other damaged components. Problem Solving: Diagnose plumbing problems and respond to emergencies, clearing drain blockages and finding the source of malfunctions. Blueprint Reading: Interpret building plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and lay out plumbing systems and equipment. Code Compliance: Ensure all plumbing work adheres to current state and local plumbing codes and regulations.
