As a Junior Engineer specializing in Tecnomatix Process Simulation, you will be responsible for developing and simulating digital manufacturing models using Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or Process Simulate. Your primary tasks will include analyzing production systems to identify bottlenecks, enhancing throughput, and optimizing resource utilization. Additionally, you will be creating and validating 3D simulations for various processes such as robotic welding, assembly, and material handling. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support digital factory planning and line balancing will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will also be expected to generate simulation reports and documentation to aid in decision-making processes. Furthermore, your responsibilities will involve assisting in integrating simulation models with production data for real-time analysis and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through simulation-based studies. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or Process Simulate is required. A solid understanding of manufacturing systems, process flow, and layout planning, along with familiarity with discrete event simulation concepts, is essential. Proficiency in automation systems, production workflows, MS Excel, and PowerPoint is expected, and experience with simulation reporting is considered a bonus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role, as well as effective communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
