Job Purpose: Plan and control Production in order to enable the organization to achieve targeted production of carbon black with customer quality at optimal cost and also to achieve total customer satisfaction in coordination with all support functions, through laid down quality systems. KRAs During Greenfield setup phase Develop new processes and improve existing processes Optimize process parameters to improve efficiency and productivity Troubleshoot process problems and develop solutions Work with operators to implement process changes Document and maintain process documentation Stay up-to-date on the latest process engineering technologies Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities of new units. Proficient in process engineering software (e.g., Aspen Plus, Simio, etc.) Strong knowledge of process equipment and instrumentation Ability to read and interpret process drawings Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2. Production (Carbon Black) : Effective planning and coordination for producing different Carbon Black grades Monitoring and standardizing process parameters. Arranging all input resources. Coordination with intra/inter dept. personnel. Getting the key process variables fine tuned after inline product inspection. Quality variance analysis through quality report on daily basis. Indent Preparation, GRN approval & Dept. Inventory control. Monitoring plant condition and performance on daily basis. 3. Process Improvement : Contribute to improvement in Quality Management System related to process& ensure its implementation to produce Quality product for customer satisfaction with Cost Effectiveness. Analysis of production and departmental Quality Indicators performance. Contribute in Developing the process parameters for customers specific requirement Vendor development. Monitoring& coordinating execution of Modifications in process related projects in plant. 4. Smooth Plant Operation: Reduction in Plant Breakdowns. Proactive approach to avoid process upsets (This is critical due to inherent nature Facilitating maintenance activities like preventive, predictive, break down & Annual Shut down in production and . Maintaining production related equipment history and analyzing their life cycle. 5.QMS : Plan standardization of Quality Management System &to ensure its effective deployment. Guiding, coordinating &monitoring with subordinate staff for implementation and compliance of the international system standards. Formulating required systems, procedures &one-point lessons for process standardization. 6.People Development : Motivate and ensure development of teams through various HR initiatives to raise competency level. On job training as per identified training needs. Participative & Transparent culture through teamwork like 5S, QC, KSS, JIT concept& CFT approach. To develop training program for Employees development and ensure compliance. Developing potential candidates as successor. 7.Maintenance: Execution of maintenance activities of process related critical equipment's such as Reactors, Bag Filters etc. for effective maintenance. Monitoring maintenance jobs and equipment healthiness. Periodic inspection of maintenance work. Resource mobilization monitoring PM activity of equipment's. Monitoring quality of maintenance jobs, timely bringing back the plant to operation. 8.Safety : Execution of all activities with utmost importance to safety for providing a safe working environment. Reviewingthe Safety Standards time to time. Ensuring the SafetyCompliances. Follow up for safety related jobs for speedy implementation. 9.Pollution Emissions Control Bringing Awareness among the subordinates for faster control of emissions.

The Data Scientist II will play a crucial role in supporting operational analytics across GPS to ensure products continue to serve most pressing GPS analytics needs, with potential opportunities to build new advanced analytics capabilities such as predictive modelling, simulation, and optimization. The Data Scientist II should have a strong interest in solving business problems, and an eagerness to work on all parts of the analytics value chain, from partnering with IT on data pipelines to operationalizing predictive models in the service of our patients around the world. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations based on an understanding of GPS priorities, critical issues, and value levers. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems, goals, and KPIs to to design, establish and maintain data pipelines, models and business facing reports and dashboards. Design, develop, and implement a broad array of GPS analytics that solve complex problems in a computationally efficient and statistically valid manner. Identify and implement enhancement and automation of high-value analytics while ensuring they continue to function efficiently. Collaborate proactively with IT teams to develop and enhance data infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytical tools for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis. Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate analyses to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Follow technical best practices in building, maintaining, and enhancing analytics output with scalable solutions, including code version control, pipeline management, deployment, and documentation. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior analysts and team members when required. Work hours that provide sufficient overlap with standard east coast US working hours. Skills and competencies Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions. Agile problem-solving ability and desire to learn new things and continuously improve. Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and methodologies. Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Solid understanding of digital analytics tools and platforms and version control. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner. Experience Bachelor's degree in operations research / industrial engineering / supply chain/chemical engineering/bioengineering. Advanced degree (Masters/PHD is a plus). Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a hands-on working environment in operation research, supply chain, data analytics and data integration Knowledge and expertise of analytical models such as linear programming, network optimization, goal programming, multiple objective optimizations, decision analysis Markov decision processes Experience working with large datasets, data visualization tools, statistical software packages and platforms (specifically R, Python, advanced SQL, Domino, AWS, GitHub, dbt, Tableau) Experience with simulation software (SIMIO, Arena, etc.) or DES libraries (simmer, simpy) Experience with biotech product development, manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality control is a significant plus.
