As a Software Testing Engineer / QA Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing software requirements, preparing test scenarios, executing tests to ensure software usability, and analysing test results for database impacts, errors, or bugs. You will also be preparing detailed reports on all aspects of software testing and communicating with clients to understand their product requirements. Your role will involve participating in design reviews, providing input on requirements and potential problems, and collaborating with the design team. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a good understanding of end-to-end testing processes including requirement gathering, test design, execution, and closure. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, along with proficiency in Excel. An eye for detail, analytical thinking, and a passion for systems and technologies are key attributes for this position. Understanding Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and creating test scenarios and test cases are part of the responsibilities. You should have experience in regression testing and exposure to functional testing in areas such as Service CRM, Flow management, Sales CRM, Leads management, Activity, Internet banking, and Mobile banking. Knowledge of test techniques, compatibility with software programs, and programming basics are required. Proficiency in tools like Load Runner and Silk Software is preferred. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Banking Domain are necessary for this role. This position is based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. Candidates residing in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai who can join immediately within a week will be given preference.
