As a Testing Engineer (Manual/Automated) at DSSI, you will be responsible for conducting software testing with a focus on Blackbox or manual testing methodologies. Your role will require the ability to utilize various test management and defect tracking tools, along with possessing basic Unix skills and proficiency in SQL querying. In addition to these foundational skills, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and hold a degree in any field. The position is full-time, and there are currently 2 openings available. Specialized skills such as test automation and performance testing will be highly valued in this role. Familiarity with tools like Selenium, HP UFT (QTP), Rational Robot, Load Runner, Silk Performer, and Rational Load is advantageous. The primary categories of software testing jobs include System or Functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Automation using tools like Selenium and QTP, and Performance testing utilizing tools such as Load Runner and Silk Performer. Key responsibilities will include preparing test plans, estimating test efforts, analyzing functional specifications to design test cases, executing test suites, logging defects, verifying the test environment, automating test cases, and developing regression test plans. Proficiency in using Test Management and Defect tracking tools such as Quality Center, ClearQuest, Bugzilla, and automation tools like QTP and Selenium is essential.
