Silicon rubber mixing operator

A Rubber Mixing Operator is responsible for preparing and mixing raw rubber materials according to specified formulations, operating mixing machines (Banbury/Two-Roll Mill), and ensuring consistency, quality, and safety throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Banbury mixer / kneader / two-roll mill for rubber compound preparation.
• Measure and load raw materials (rubber, chemicals, additives) as per batch formulation.
• Monitor mixing time, temperature, pressure, and batch consistency.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards.
• Perform in-process quality checks (color, texture, hardness, etc.).
• Follow production sheets and maintain accurate batch records.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of machines and mixing area.
• Follow all safety guidelines, PPE usage, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with QC and production supervisors for smooth workflow.
• Identify and report any machine issues or abnormal batch performance.

Requirements

• Experience in rubber mixing / compounding / manufacturing (preferred 1–3 years).
• Knowledge of Banbury mixer / kneader / mill operations.
• Ability to read batch sheets and measure materials accurately.
• Basic understanding of rubber materials and mixing cycles.
• Physically fit (the job may involve lifting bags of raw materials).
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and reliability.

• Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
