Responsibilities The Store Manager will be responsible for efficiently managing the factory store operations, including material receipts, storage, and dispatch of finished goods. The role ensures proper documentation, timely reporting, and effective inventory control to support smooth production and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities Material Inward (GRN Process): Receive raw materials and consumables against purchase orders. Verify quantity, quality, and specifications before acceptance. Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Note (GRN). Coordinate with quality/inspection teams for approval. Material Storage & Handling: Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and safe storage of materials. Implement FIFO/FEFO practices for material issuance. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and security of the store area. Material Issuance & Handover: Issue materials to production as per approved requisition slips. Record handovers accurately in stock registers/ERP system. Track material consumption and minimize wastage. Finished Goods Outward: Manage packing, storage, and dispatch of finished products. Verify delivery challans, invoices, and customer dispatch requirements. Coordinate with logistics for timely shipment. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock registers (manual). Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations. Prepare and submit stock reports to management. Ensure no stock-out or overstock situations. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain records of inward, outward, and balance stock. Ensure compliance with company SOPs and audit requirements. Support statutory audits with accurate data. Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of store operations and inventory control. Familiarity with GRN, stock reconciliation, and dispatch procedures. Proficiency in microsft excel for inventory management. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability. Knowledge of safety, handling, and compliance standards.
